The service

is run by (). You pay a one-off price to create an event with a QR code. Guests leave written, audio or video messages. After the event we email the host a private link to view them.

What you get

The price depends on the number of guests you choose and the plan. Each guest can leave one audio or video message, and we add 10% spare capacity. Written messages are limited to 2,000 characters each, and each event can hold up to 3,000 written messages. Audio messages are limited to 120 seconds and video messages to 60 seconds.

Paying

Prices are in pounds sterling and are shown before you pay. Payment is taken by Stripe when you create the event. Your event opens as soon as payment is confirmed.

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel and get a full refund before your event has received any messages by emailing . Once guests have started leaving messages the service has been provided and we cannot refund it, unless the service was not delivered as described. This does not affect your legal rights.

How long messages are kept

Messages are kept for 12 months after the event closes, then deleted. We email reminders before then. You can download everything, order a USB keepsake, or pay to keep text, audio and photos for life or videos for a further year. "For life" means for as long as we run the service. If we ever plan to stop, we will give at least 90 days' notice by email so you can download everything. Please keep your own copy of anything important.

Your responsibilities

You must tell your guests that messages will be collected and who will see them. You must not use the service for anything unlawful, abusive or harmful. You are responsible for keeping your private link safe: anyone who has it can see and delete your messages. We may remove content that breaks the law or these terms.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Recording depends on the guest's phone and browser, and some older devices cannot record. Those guests can still write a message.

USB keepsakes

USB keepsakes are posted to UK addresses only. We will send it within a reasonable time after you order.

Our liability

We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or our negligence. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. Our total liability for any event is limited to the price you paid for it. We are not responsible for loss caused by events outside our control.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute, unless the law where you live gives you the right to go to your local courts.
